Overnight yards are available at the Carnarvon Race Club. Price is per horse. Facilities include: Multiple secure yards Camping permitted (self-contained camper/horse float required) Toilets and showers Round yards available to allow horses to stretch their legs You will need your own water buckets, feed buckets, mucking out equipment. All yards to be left clean and tidy before you leave - Please rake up ALL hay and dispose to the muck heap. Please feel free to arrive any time of the day or night - let us know an approx time so we can let caretakers know. A wood-burning fireplace in the lounge makes winter stays cosy. The kitchen is simple and practical, with everything you need to cook a family meal or a long, lazy breakfast. Two bedrooms sleep up to six: a queen in the main, plus a clever bunk room with a queen, a king single, and a trundle single bed beneath — perfect for a family or two couples travelling with kids. Bring the horses Boots & Tails welcomes horses by prior arrangement. Guests bringing horses must complete the Horse Guest Agreement and Waiver before arrival. Electric fencing is available for guest use, and guests are responsible for checking the suitability, care, containment, feed and welfare of their own horse/s. Bring the dogs and the kids. An extra fee will be charged for extra people after 2 and a per stay fee for dogs. Plenty of space to run, sniff, and snooze on the verandah. Bring the family Outdoor fire pit and indoor wood fire for the cooler months, a/c for hot summer days, games for all ages, sweeping valley views, or wander down to the two dams on the property. Daisy Cottage is a large fully self contained cottage with two separate queen bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living area (with room for additional beds if required), pot belly fireplace, large kitchen/dining area, laundry and large verandah overlooking farm paddocks and rolling hills, plus wheelchair access and ambulant bathroom.

Dreams of horses is primarily a coaching business where students learn the art of classical training in a respectful and consent based approach. We believe that horses are sentient autonomous being which needs to be respected as such. Our animals are treated as family members. We have set up our farms using permaculture principles, in respect of nature, and we grow most of our food. We wish to invite you to come and stay with us if you feel this aligns with your values.

We have a working farm of 500 acres 30km out of Boyup brook and 50km from Collie. There are cattle, sheep, horses, geese and a goat that we share the land with. We offer self sufficient camping at the moment for people ( hipcamp) and only have livestock water available, so yards, toilet etc need to be brought in. Lovely rolling hills, with lots of bush and plenty of wildlife. Enjoy a sunset drink whilst cooking your tea in the open fire . ( when allowed ) Wood can be purchased or collected yourself. We have some good quiet gravel roads to ride around or thru out the farm. There is the Collie to Darkan rail trail close by also . Hoof boots or shoes probably required. We don't as our lot have tough feet!

Dempster Cottage is a freestanding stone cottage built in 1853. It has been entirely renovated and is fully self-contained with a queen bed in the main area and a king single trundle bed in the dining area. It boasts a small full-equipped kitchen, bathroom with spa bath plus a large verandah area to relax overlooking the trees, paddocks and lake whilst listening to the abundant birdlife.

Only four hours drive from Perth makes it very accessible for that quiet getaway. It is ideally located to explore the Mt Barker, Frankland, Denmark and Porongorup wine growing areas. None being more than 30 minutes away. You are also close to the Porongorup and Stirling Range National Parks as well as the regional city of Albany and the beaches and National Parks of the southern coast. Cottage exterior Features: Outside the front window is a small natural lake ringed by paperbarks. Seasonally the water level rises and falls and is home to a variety of birds including the coot. (hence our name) but you are just as likely to see red-tailed cockatoos and splendid fairy wrens, as you are spoonbills and ibis. Take an evening stroll or a ride and watch the ever changing colours of dusk ... have a picnic in a paddock with a chilled white wine and watch the moon come up over the Porongurups ... or stoke up the fire and pick up that book you've been meaning to read. Share a morning cup of tea on your sunny porch with a few friendly guinea fowl.
