The Royal Canberra Show each February draws horse exhibitors from the ACT, the Southern Tablelands and the South Coast for a summer weekend of classes at EPIC.

Entire House, Large Pool Bar and 250 acre Horse Farm
The fully renovated farmhouse blends modern comfort with country charm. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens, three living areas, a bar/study and our famous pool bar, it easily sleeps 13-18 guests. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, tennis court, bikes, or unwind in the large pool bar—complete with a pool table, TVs, fridges, BBQ, and cozy fire—perfect for relaxed gatherings, tame bucks or hens nights, and pre-wedding get-togethers. Our friendly farm animals—including horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, and our beloved Highland cow—love a pat over the fence. Visiting dogs, cats, or even horses are welcome. Set on 250 acres, horse facilities include arena, stables, horse walker, racetrack and trails.

The Stables is a fully self-contained studio on 200 acres located 15 minutes north of beautiful, historic Gundaroo, NSW. Strategically located just 15 mins off the Federal Hwy if travelling from Sydney to Canberra/Melbourne. Detached from the main residence, guests will be surrounded by farm and native animals. As a wildlife release ground, the property is frequented by kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos, wombats and echidnas. Bird enthusiasts will also take delight in the visiting bird life which includes the resident wedge tail eagles. Guests have access to the property with hikes available in a national park like setting. For those intrigued by rural life, spend time with the animals and explore. For the wildlife warriors, learn about the ongoing conversation efforts and challenges while experiencing these amazing creatures up close and personal. Undertaking the journey of a lifetime and riding (horse) the National Bicentennial / National Horse Trail between Healesville, Vic. and Cooktown Qld? We have you covered! Located only 4.2 km off the trail both rider and horse can overnight and rest. A veterinary crush, undercover holding yards and round yard are available. We are surrounded by some of the best cool climate wineries around. (Lerida Estate and Tallagandra Hill to name a few). Better yet, dine at the critically acclaimed, Grazing Restaurant in Gundaroo whilst exploring the history of the village and the origin of Banjo Paterson’s Poem, The Gundaroo Bullock.
