WA's state dressage championships run at the State Equestrian Centre in Brigadoon, with riders travelling from the South West, Great Southern and Wheatbelt — distances that make overnighting essential rather than optional.
The Swan Valley and Perth Hills around the venue are established horse country: farm stays here put you ten to thirty minutes from the warm-up arena.

Dempster Cottage is a freestanding stone cottage built in 1853. It has been entirely renovated and is fully self-contained with a queen bed in the main area and a king single trundle bed in the dining area. It boasts a small full-equipped kitchen, bathroom with spa bath plus a large verandah area to relax overlooking the trees, paddocks and lake whilst listening to the abundant birdlife.

Our luxury tents have been designed and built in Australia to suit Australian conditions and to blend into the Aussie outback whilst providing a unique experience. There are 20 tents in total, 15 with queen beds and five with twin beds. The tents sleep up to 40 people. What’s included: Our tents are extremely well designed with many features including: • Large space with good headroom • Large windows and door fronts with good ventilation and insect mesh • Separate shade roof to help control temperature and air flow • Top quality mattresses which are extremely comfortable • Quality high thread count linen, doonas, pillows and towels • Electricity – USB Ports, lights and even electric blankets • Furnishings, bedside tables, dress hangers, rugs, deck chairs and complimentary water • Modern toilet and shower block (including ambulant access) • Camp kitchen with fridge, stove, toaster, kettle, crockery, microwave and cutlery • BBQ area, tables and chairs • Access to swimming pool

Daisy Cottage is a large fully self contained cottage with two separate queen bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living area (with room for additional beds if required), pot belly fireplace, large kitchen/dining area, laundry and large verandah overlooking farm paddocks and rolling hills, plus wheelchair access and ambulant bathroom.
We are a Heritage property with room for horses and guests.
Buckland Estate is on approx 26.5 hectares & we have separate paddocks for horses close to guest accommodation. The homestead has 5 separate bedrooms, two with king beds, three with queen beds plus 2 single beds, sleeping 12 people overall with the option of adding single mattresses for children if required. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 lounge rooms and a huge country kitchen.
