FULL CARE - FEED INCLUDED At Yamba Farm we offer spelling/retirement agistment for thoroughbreds and pleasure horses. Located in the Barossa Valley, all horses on our property are treated as our own. Daily agistment fees include hay/basic hard feed as required, rugging, FEC and organisation of routine worming, farrier, dentistry, vet work, vaccinations etc. (costs additional). Our facilities include: • Shared paddocks • Individual paddocks (though not our preference as we prefer to keep them in suitable groups where they are much happier) • An abundance of natural shelter • On-site supervision (owners live on farm) • Auto water troughs • Stable/yard area • Secure fencing • Routine worming, farrier, dentistry, and vaccinations • Nearby access to highly regarded equine veterinarians. We provide written reports with photo updates to owners three-monthly, or as frequently as requested. We can assist with transportation arrangements from within Australia, including from the IRT quarantine facility in Melbourne. Yamba Farm is currently home to multiple retired Hong Kong racehorses, as well as local broodmares and aged pleasure mounts. Please contact us directly for pricing. Long term residents preferred.
