Farmshare makes it easy to discover and book a wide range of equestrian services and experiences across Australia.
Whether you’re looking for a short stay, riding lesson, agistment, or a trail ride, Farmshare’s search and map tools help you find the right option quickly.
Using the search bar
The search bar is available at the top of every Farmshare page, so you can start searching at any time.
You can:
- Enter a location (town, suburb, or region)
- Choose a category
- Browse all available experiences without selecting a category
Search results update automatically based on your selections.
Experience categories
Farmshare listings are grouped into several categories to help you find exactly what you need:
Short Stays
Horse-friendly accommodation, ideal for travelling, events, or holidays with your horse.
Trail Riding
Discover trail riding experiences offered by local businesses. Some listings allow you to bring your own horse, while others provide horses for the ride.
Riding Lessons
Browse lessons and coaching options from a range of instructors and disciplines.
Agistment
Find agistment centres or private paddocks with availability for short- or long-term agistment.
Other
Explore a variety of other horse-related services and experiences not covered by the main categories.
You can search within a single category or browse across all categories at once.
Using filters
After searching, you can refine your results using filters such as:

- Price range
- Type of experience

The map page is a powerful way to explore listings based on location.
Using the map, you can:
- Navigate across Australia
- Discover nearby or regional experiences
- Plan trips or holidays involving your horse
Listings appear directly on the map, allowing you to see what’s available in each area.
Viewing and booking a listing
When you find a listing you’re interested in:
- Click the listing on the map or in the results list
- Review the details, pricing, and availability
- Book directly through Farmshare
Once booked, all details will appear in your dashboard.
