About This Experience
Our property is a true working horse stud with some of the most well known horses in the country as residents. Situated between Brisbane and Sydney Easy on and off access to M1 Stay overnight or come for a holiday, Enjoy a beautiful trail ride only a few minute ride away or load up and be at Stewart’s point or South West Rocks pet friendly beaches within minutes. Bring your friends or come alone. We offer 4 Cabins and a Cottage that can accommodate up to 16 guests and 18 horses. The Cabin in this listing is Cabin 1 It includes the use of one stable for 1 horse for the duration of your stay. If you would like to bring extra horses all you need to do is go to the Agistment section of this site and add each extra horse to your booking. Cabin 1 has a queen bed / kitchenette/ microwave/ fridge/ toast / coffee making facilities and a BBQ. Relax and enjoy a wine 🍷 in our bath 🛀 or sit on the verandah and enjoy the view that overlooks the property. Our property is very private with no neighbours in site. Our communal area attached to the cottage offers lounges and dining facilities with BBQ / TV making it a great place where friends can get together. We offer 18 stables in total seven 10x4 and eleven 4x4 that can accommodate Studs or large horses. Fresh clean water will be ready and waiting for you along with thick bedding for your 🐴 All stables have lights and join on to our lit up indoor arena for late arrivals. Big parking area for goosenecks and semi trailers Our property is set up for horse people with proper fencing / powered camp/ toilets/ yards / stables / wash bays / round yard/ parking areas / riding tracks etc. we have had guests who bring horses and their boat 🚤 or ⛳️ golf clubs South west rocks offers pet friendly activities and restaurants, with a shopping centre that has a bottlo / Cole’s/ restaurant etc, only a short scenic drive from Butyerfly Cabins 🦋

Things to know
A few simple guidelines for short stay visits - arrival, facilities, and what to bring.
Stables will be cleaned with fresh water waiting on your arrival, if arriving late the lights will be turned on, we ask that stables are kept clean at all times, rakes and wheelbarrows are provided
Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times, all our cabins have an enclosed / shaded area where your dogs can be safely off lead. Please pick up all poo. Bins are provided for number 2s 💩
No snoking inside , there are numerous smoking sitting areas available
We welcome you to ride the local trails into the Tamban Forest 🌳, but ask no horses are ridden on the property unless there is a clinic or an arranged lesson made before arrival.
