Cosy Cottage, Forest Mountain Trails & Historic Pub nearby

Relax with the family, friends and horses, or take time just for yourself and your horse at this peaceful place. Relax, recharge & restore in nature, close to Melbourne but a world away. Your room has lovely forest views, a queen bed and bunk bed, heater or fan, hanging space and tea/coffee. Use of shared bathroom, kitchen, indoor/outdoor dining, back porch with forest views and the invitation to wander two peaceful acres of forest, paddle in a gorgeous burbling brook and explore the state forest that borders the property with your horse. There is a post and rail horse yard with a small shelter, water tub, haynets, over the fence hard feed buckets and a small paddock. Pasture hay can be provided for $20 per square or bring your own (very important it’s weed-free) hay. Lovely bush tracks to explore, the Upper Yarra Dam is only a few km’s away and a lovely rustic historic pub is 5km away, has great food and even has a horse yard or tie up in front of the pub. My partner and I live on the property and our two rehomed brumbies will not be there unless discussed beforehand. We also have chickens, a cat and a rabbit on the property along with a relaxing back deck and even an outdoor bath overlooking the forest to soak in after a ride.
