About This Experience
We have accomodation for guests and their horses who would like to enjoy our 'big backyard' where trail riding is the most natural thing to do. No roads, no traffic, just 618 acres to explore...or go beyond onto the miles of sand tracks beyond our property borders. We can offer lessons in our 'playground' inside of the 'home paddock' which is in sight of the homestead, or guide you on trail rides (with your own horse) or take a 'horse experience' with one of ours (ground based interaction only) Guided trail ride or horse experience are not included in pricing. $110 pp. We can also accomodate extra guests on request. We tailor your stay to what you are ready for, or dream about or both! We have decades of experience teaching the best prep and practise for trail riding (Chris and her horses are also featured clinicians on the educational platform 'The Horsemen Collective' on the theme of Trail Riding) Our facilities for horses include large individual (20' x 20') yards, or optional shared private paddock (if your horses are able to share safely) tack/feed shed for guests, easy access for any size rig and even an 'emotional support pony' if your horse is travelling alone. Our herd of 10 horses are nearby but separated by post and rail fencing from the guest yards. Private paddock has #8 smooth wire fencing and a shelter with 6' panel enclosure to separate horses if needed. Opt 2: Our 2 bedroom 'Guest Wing' (Qbed & Dbed) with private bathroom (toilet, bath & shower) lounge with 'kitchenette' (think motel style with microwave, toaster, mini fridge, kettle) and outdoor setting with bbq. (more suited if you plan to eat out for dinner)
