We currently have space for up to six horses in a six acre paddock, shared on a long established mixed grazing property. Perfect for endurance riders, trail riders, stock riders, ponyclubbers and weekend pleasure riders etc. We can offer separate, fenced grassy riding areas, a washbay, as well as the use of the very safe rolled steel railing cattle yards which double as day yards if needed. We also have a purpose built roundyard, small and larger training area, loading ramp for trucks, plenty of parking and ample room for truck turnaround. We have a shared shed that is perfect for storing feed, hay and tack. Power can be supplied to the shed by arrangement. We are in the process of building on-site bathroom amenities and with views to offer overnight camping for horse agistees through the fairer seasons. Our facilities are perfect for handling up young/inexperienced horses and will work well for weanlings/yearlings, and horses in training at every level. We also offer our agistees access to exclusive riding trails on our picturesque private 1000 acre property. Perfect for stock riders, trail riders, endurance and weekend pleasure riders. The surrounding area is famous for it's scenic mountains, streams, waterfalls , huge natural granite boulders, forests. natural attractions as well as gem fossicking and more. There is lots of wildlife to view as well as birds and wetlands and national parks nearby. We are located high in the mountains, so our property is naturally flood free. We grow and bale our own soft pasture hay which we sell and make available to horse owners to feed through winter ( or anytime. ) With nearby towns of Guyra, Glen Innes and Armidale for all your stock feed supplies, saddlery, rugs and tack, as well as equine vets and equine breeding/reproductive specialists. Located a convenient 4km from the New England Highway, with all major horse transporters going past frequently. We have a farrier visit regularly and all present horses are on a regular deworming program. Experienced horse owner on site 24/7 and happy to send regular updates. Prices start at $50 pw per horse DIY. Spelling and part-care by arrangement. Long term or short term available, including holiday/vacation spelling. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
