About This Experience
Lessons with Anke are designed to help riders of all levels develop deeper awareness, better feel, and more harmony with their horse — no matter their starting point. Together, we focus on improving posture, balance, and communication in a way that is both empowering and sustainable. Rather than drilling movements or riding to a formula, we work to understand the “why” behind what’s happening — and build from there. Lessons can include in-hand work, lunging, and ridden sessions, depending on what’s most helpful for you and your horse. We pay close attention to biomechanics, timing, and energy — the small details that make a big difference. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s a better partnership — one where both horse and rider feel calm, clear, and capable. If you would like to join us for a lesson at our Minimbah facility, you can rest assured that this custom designed equestrian facility is designed to make yours and your horse's experience as stress free as possible. Our facility offers: undercover arena with lights, allowing for all-weather and evening lessons. professional surface calm atmosphere good float access parking and turning yards and safe tie-up locations

Things to know
A few simple guidelines to keep riders, hosts, and horses happy.
Use common sense. Good horsemanship is often about making thoughtful, practical decisions instead of chasing quick fixes.
Be safety conscious. Always ask yourself, “Would I ride this horse today?” That question can tell you a lot about where things are really at.
Bring a good attitude. Progress takes patience, consistency, and the willingness to keep learning — for both horse and rider.
Keep an open mind. One of the hardest lessons in horses is realising you don’t know what you don’t know. Horses have a very honest way of teaching us that.
Don’t train for the effect. Don’t just chase the finished picture. Take the time to understand the foundations underneath it.

About the host
Hi, I’m Anke I followed the usual dressage path until I realised it was making my horse sore and stressed. That didn’t sit right. I moved to classical training—slower, thoughtful, and focused on soundness. Now I help horses and riders find balance, connection, and ease.
