Split Rock Mountain is located in the picturesque Rockmount valley, in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. It is just a 20 minute drive, via good sealed roads, southeast of Toowoomba. The property consists of 200 acres of sandstone country and includes creek flats, undulating slopes and steep mountain ridges. The fertile scrub soil supports a mix of native and improved pasture on which horses thrive, while an abundance of established trees provide ample shade and shelter.At Split Rock Mountain the horses all live in groups in large paddocks. Paddocks are fenced with horse-safe Horserail, have excellent mixed pasture and shade trees and are equipped with circular concrete water troughs, all with float valves. Owner lives on the property full time, providing complete care for the horses. This includes checking them each day, keeping records of and organising vaccinations, dental checks and farrier visits. The well maintained facilities include: • 18 m round yard; • 60 m x 20 m fenced sand arena; • large and well set out tack room and separate feed room; • covered, wash/saddling/trimming bays with rubber mats, overhead spray booms and lights; • shower and toilet.
